The 2023 Atelier Exhibition, Here + Now, is a collection of a year’s worth of works from the young children at Bambini House. Located in just minutes away in Chatswood, Bambini House is a small early childhood centre that hosts children from 2-5 years of age. The educators at Bambini House feel strongly that each child is competent, inventive, imaginative and brimming with ideas and theories about the world around them. The educators have a deep respect for each child and therefore nurture their individual learning process by recognising potential and provoking thought, action, conversation and artistic expression. Here + Now is a collection of drawings, paintings, sculptures, and installations that the young artists have created in the Atelier at Bambini House while exploring their fluency in the artistic languages through dialogues on time and space.
